Pete Wall: Guitar Teacher
Pete Wall is a guitarist and composer based in Edinburgh. Though he primarily focuses on these, he is also familiar with piano, bass, vocals, mandolin and production.
Pete has been gigging, writing and releasing music for over 10 years, in styles ranging from folk, through indie and rock, to big-band funk. With Sticks and Stones, Pete released a debut album on Distilled Records in 2014 and went onto share a stage with bands such as Fatherson and We Were Promised Jetpacks. Most recently Pete has released music with Edinburgh-based folk-pop band Oceancode which continues to pick up regular airplay on national radio.
Pete also has extensive experience playing within musical theatre including as part of a five-star, sold-out run of American Idiot during the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Academically Pete has completed an undergraduate degree in Popular Music from Edinburgh Napier University and a Masters in Music at the same institution.
Pete has been teaching guitar privately since 2017, catering to a range of ages and styles. He tailors his lessons specifically to the aspirations of the student, creating a supportive environment which encourages students to study music in a way that they find engaging.
