Peter Bunting: Drum Teacher
With over 16 years of drumming experience, Peter has worked his way from a young age to a professional level of drumming. He has spent the last few years gaining a name for himself as a professional session drummer, going on tours with a variety of artists including Palm Reader, Toy Mountains, Woes and E M I L I E, supporting the likes of Don Broco, Rolo Tomassi, Mabel and White Lies. These tours featured shows to crowds of 1000+ people, in countries all across Europe including France, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and Germany.
Peter is also the full-time drummer of two Edinburgh based bands, Donnie Willow and Mt. Doubt, with whom he has toured extensively around the UK, recorded a number of studio albums, and received national radio play from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Scotland. He has also recorded several live sessions for the BBC which were broadcasted on TV and radio.
Peter’s live drumming experience ranges from small clubs in Glasgow to the big stage at festivals such as T in the Park and 2000 Trees, and has recorded drums in studios with a number of prolific producers across the country, with 100+ recorded songs under his belt. Peter specialises in rock and metal drumming, but also is very experienced in modern pop and indie playing, and has been trained in more classical styles such as jazz and funk.
